  1. 1Paste a link to a post on X, or type the name, handle and text yourself.

Turn posts into pictures

A good post deserves more than one feed. Images of X posts are a popular format on Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and in stories, and they are an easy way to show your best posts to people who do not use X.

The maker draws a clean card in X’s light, dim or dark look on a background of your choice, with or without the date and the numbers. Add a reply under the post or a quoted post inside it, as people share them.

Sizes for every place

Square 1:1 and portrait 4:5 fit an Instagram or LinkedIn feed, 9:16 fits stories, reels covers and TikTok, and Fit wraps the image tightly around the post. Images are saved at twice the screen size, so 1:1 comes out at 1080 × 1080 pixels.

Everything is drawn in your browser: your photos and text are not uploaded anywhere. Importing a post by its link reads only its public text, name and date.

Posts that sound like you, published on time.

plotpost writes a month of X posts and threads in your own style, and a drag-and-drop calendar publishes them through the official X API, with analytics to see what works.

Questions

Is the post image maker free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit. A small “made with plotpost” note is on by default and you can switch it off.

Why is the profile photo not imported?

Importing reads the post through X’s public embed, which does not include the photo. Upload the photo yourself with the round button next to the name.

Can I make an image of someone else’s post?

Share other people’s posts the way you would quote them: with their name and handle, as they wrote them. Do not make up posts for real people; that misleads your audience and can break the rules of the place you post it.

Can I show a reply or a quoted post?

Yes. Pick “With a reply” to show a reply under the post, or “With a quoted post” to show another post inside it.

Why does copying the image not work in my browser?

Some browsers do not allow copying images to the clipboard. Use Download PNG instead.
